Laser Acupuncture

Laser Acupuncture is the pain free form of treatment
Laser Acupuncture Therapy has a long and safe history of use in many different counties around the world including Australia. Laser Acupuncture uses a low energy beam instead of needles to influence the flow of Qi (energy) at the points. The laser is used for the effective treatment of any painful conditions such as sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, etc. Low level laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non invasive and non thermal method of Acupuncture treatment. It works on restoring the cell’s normal function by enhancing the body’s natural healing and pain relieving processes.
It is a great way of treating children and people who are shy of needles. It is quick effective and painless. A beam from a laser is directed at Acupoints. Stimulating the points similar to the way acupuncture needles do. During the laser procedure a practitioner may hold the beam steady on an acupoint for a period of time that can range from seconds to around a couple of minutes in duration.
Laser is used for its anaesthetic effect and the stimulation of acupoints. Laser therapy significantly reduces patient trauma and is a good choice for treating conditions where the risk of cross infection are high. Laser has some distinct advantages over traditional needle methods. Use of a Laser is non invasive aseptic procedure which significantly reduces pain and recovery time associated with some invasive treatments. Laser can generally treat the same range of conditions as Acupuncture does. It can treat conditions like scares, cosmetic treatments, skin conditions, quit smoking, pain and trauma.
