Acupuncture treats many conditions effectively
Acupuncture can be a real fix for many conditions as it treat the cause of the complaint and not just treating the symptoms.
Acupuncture is a therapeutic form of treatment that manipulates the Qi or energy flow throughout the body by returning the natural balance through the use of Acupoints. It is an ancient form of treatment that has been part of the Chinese culture for thousands of years. It has been in Australia since the 1970’s and has become a major part of the main stream health industry.
Acupuncture can treat many conditions like headaches, pain, colds and flu. It can treat conditions that western medicine can struggle with, like women’s issues for instance. The western medicine fix is to go on the pill, take pain killers or put up with it. With Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM this can be treated with great success. With Acupuncture there are no side effects so it is a better way to treat verses taking drugs. Many conditions that are being treated with western medicine and medication are only just managing the symptoms and the medication is to be taken for life with some of the side effects not being very pleasant at all.
Cosmetic Acupuncture is a real alternative for the treatment of lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet. By stimulating the problem area, it helps to bring back the natural flow of Qi and blood to the area and promotes the body’s natural healing process. Much finer needles are used for this, then is used in regular Acupuncture.
Acupuncture is not a quick fix as it is generally requires a course of treatments to get the desired results. Here in Australia, single use needles are used. It can be combined with other therapies to enhance its therapeutic qualities, like using Chinese herbs, cupping, scraping, Electro Acupuncture, Acupuncture point injection therapy and many others.
